He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Floyd and Ruth Floyd; his brothers, Ira and Rub Floyd; his son Larry Floyd; and his daughter-in-law Angelin Lee Floyd.
He is survived by: his wife Claudie Floyd; his sister Mary Jordan; his sons, John (Darla), David (Kay) and Gary Floyd (Danette); his grandchildren, Lena Beals (Blake), Kristi Floyd, Laura Christopher (Blake), Cooper (Krystle), Blaine (Kori), Justin (Amy), Carlton and Garrett (Olivia); and his great grandchildren, Cooper Jr., Cash, Clara, Dean, Joshua, Deborah and Grayson. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (7725 Sweetgum Rd, Beaumont, TX 77713). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bevil Oaks Baptist Church (7725 Sweetgum Rd, Beaumont, TX 77713). A burial was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Guedry Cemetery (11713 Batson Prairie Rd, Batson, TX 77519).
