He was predeceased by: his father Richard Eakins; and his brother Randy. He is survived by: his mother Billie Eakins; his wife Barbara Hodges Eakins; his children, Adam Eakins (Bridget) and Amber Rader (Aaron); his grandchildren, Katie, Randal Eakins, Bethany, Zachary and Alyssa Rader; and his brother Ron Eakins.
