She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Campbell and Beulah Lee Houchines (Cox); and her brothers, L. D. and Jerry Houchines. She is survived by: her former husband Roy Kenneth Phillips; her daughters, Patrisha, Betty and Tressie; and her husband Jack Dawson. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, And a host of nieces and nephews.
