It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Libby Laughlin of Grapevine, Texas, who passed away at the age of 64, on February 24, 2024. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She is survived by: her parents, Alfred G. "Al" McCausland and Elizabeth Jean "Betty" McCausland; her husband Kevin B. Laughlin; her children, Richard Laughlin (Christiana) of Dauphin, Pennsylvania, Ashley Ermis (Kyle) of Boerne and Lauren Guidry (Jeremy) of Grand Prairie; her grandchildren, Kaden Ermis, Callyn Ermis and Mavric; her brother Scott McCausland (Cheryl) of Ridgefield; her niece Megan McCausland; and her nephew Jacob McCausland. She is also survived by parents, grandparents.
Libby also faced the challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic and the need to do church differently when church could not be held on campus, and the challenges of reducing the spread of COVID within the preschool area after on-campus services resumed.
In lieu of flowers, Libby requested that monetary gifts be made to one of the churches where she served for the benefit of their Preschool Ministries: Trinity Baptist Church in Kerrville, Texas; First Baptist Church of Midland, Texas, First Baptist Church of Midlothian, Texas, or Northwest Bible Church of Dallas, Texas.
