He is survived by: his son Mark; his sister Irene Vaughan; his daughter-in-law Bunny (Tim Long); his granddaughters, Amanda Howarth (Jake) and Kimberly Cairns (Matt); and his great grandchildren, Ayden and Kayleigh Howarth. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Benevolence Fund at First Baptist Church Grapevine.
