It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claudette Ann Downing in Grapevine, Texas, born in Lovington, Illinois, who passed away on December 16, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Mathis and Martha Stevens Mathis; her husband Eugene "Rudy" Downing; and her brother Charles Mathis. She is survived by: her sons, Dan Dock (Dawn) of Dallas, TX, David Dock (Debbie) of Macungie, PA and Paul Dock of Cucamonga, CA; her stepchildren, Gary Downing (Debbie) of Peru, Michael Downing (Suzanne) of Rochester, IN, Lisa Loe (Gary) of Peru and Timothy Downing (Gail) of Etna Green, IN; and her brother Paul Mathis (Mary) of Meridian, MS.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; ten step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, eleven step-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made through the funeral home to the St. Charles Catholic Church.
