He is survived by: his wife Patti Smoot; his children, Ronnie Jo Smoot of Montgomery, TX, Cory Gene Smoot of Palestine, TX, Stephanie Alabdallah of Spring, TX and Gina Barreto of Houston, TX; his stepdaughter Leslie Goodnight Cox of Latexo, TX; his brother Mike Smoot of Jefferson, TX; his brothers-in-law, Ronnie Stutts (Ruby) of Tyler, TX, Ricky Stutts (Becky) of Magnolia, TX and Tom Galloway (Connie) of Azle, TX; his sister Brenda Wells of Clarksville, TX; his sister-in-law Connie McBroom of Rusk, TX; and his grandsons, Patrick Taylor, Brandon Taylor and Weston Goodnight.
