She was predeceased by: her parents, Sanford Burran and Opal Burran; her siblings, Frankie Pearl, Virgil, Waymon and Charles; and her sons, James E. Cross Jr. and Charles.

She is survived by: her children, David Havard (Marti) and Gayla (Cross) Peterek (Frank); her grandsons, Jonathan Havard (Jacalyn), Matthew Havard (Liz), Ben Cross (Maria) and Carson; and her great grandchildren, Aaron, Miles, Violet, Milo and Luna. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Earthman Resthaven (13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060). A graveside service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Weches Cemetery (250 Co Rd 1580, Grapeland, TX 75844).
