He is survived by: his wife Shirley Nichols Deason; his daughter Celeste; his son-in-law Floyd Parker; his son Leslie Deason; his daughter-in-law Robin; his son Vaughn Pierson; his daughter-in-law Marilyn; his son Keith; and his daughter-in-law Alma Pierson. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.
