We are sad to announce that on February 11, 2021, at the age of 47, Virgil Allen McCarty of Granite Shoals, Texas, born in Manchester, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Burchill Cameron McCarty and Joyce Spencer McCarty. He is survived by: his brother Mac; his children, Jessica, Hollie Cooksey and Mark Cooksey (Sierra); and his brother Burchill Roger McCarty. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Mac to any local VFW establishment.
