He was predeceased by: his parents, Hampton Allen and Minnie Etheridge (Moore); and his siblings, Hampton Jr., Mary Sawyer, Helen Toole, Joy Howell and James Edwin.

He is survived by: his wife Rose Marie Swartz; his children, Mary Etheridge of Maumelle, AR and Edwin Etheridge (Kimberly) of Taylor, TX; and his grandson Ethan. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
