It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leroy Filla of Granger, Texas, born in Coupland, Texas, who passed away on April 4, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Filla and Vlasta Filla (Machu); his sister Helen Raesz; his brother-in-law Raymond Raesz; his brother Dan Filla; and his siblings-in-law, Helen Filla and Tony Pavel.
He is survived by: his friend Gladys Prinz; his son Gary Filla; his grandson Dylan Filla; his great grandchildren, Keegan Bohac and Jameson Estrada; his siblings, Irene Pavel and Milton Filla (Debbie); his children, Carolyn Estrada (Tony), Brenda Filla Bartosh and Tommy Filla (Dawn); and his grandchildren, Yvonne, Brandon, Chelsea, Jennalee, Jasmine, Garrison, Cameron, Cody, Colt, Elisa, Kaylee, Crystal, Ashley, Caleb and Payton. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.
