He was predeceased by: his parents, Werner Marburger and Hulda Marburger; his sister Doris Tschoerner; and his brother-in-law Benny Kubacak. He is survived by: his children, David Marburger (Ruth), Debbie Jimenez (Monroe) and Susannah Miller; and his siblings, Dorothy, Harry Marburger (Gladys) and Wilbert Marburger (Nancy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be made to The Children's Heart Foundation to support congenital heart defect research.
