He is survived by: his children, George Sims Jr. (Teresa) of Seminole, Earl Sims of Granger, Texas and Lavera Johnson of Taylor, Texas; his sisters, Minnie Sims of Pflugerville, Cleo Scott of Austin and Lavera Cleveland of Granger, Texas.; his grandchildren, Kendral Sims, Ketric Sims (Ashley) of Seminole, Bradley Sims and Jaron Davis of Granger, Texas; and his great grandchildren, Autumn Sims, Sheldon Sims and Messiah Good.
