With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eva Hlavinka (Mamaw) Batla (Granger, Texas), born in Bay City, Texas, who passed away on August 27, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie David and Victoria Hlavinka; her friends, Doris Crawford, Annis Mantz, Cheryl Thacker, Mary Luna and Harvette Jass; her husband Milton Batla; and her grandparents, Victoria and Martin Hlavinka.
She is survived by: her daughter Cindy Batla Bezdek (Marty Bezdek); her grandchildren, Blake and Leslie Bezdek; her son Patrick Batla (Susan); her granddaughters, Adriane Marie Sadler, Angela Rose Kelley and Ashley Bejarano; her great grandchildren, Ella James Sadler, Emily Bejarano, Brian and Walter Nelson; her nephew Aaron Batla (Mandy); and her niece Stephanie Batla Price (Jim).
Visitation was held on Friday, August 30th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Navarre Funeral Home (2444 Rollingbrook Dr, Baytown, TX 77521). A rosary was held on Friday, August 30th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, August 31st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Holy Cross/Brethren Cemetery (151 Co Rd 348, Granger, TX 76530).
