He is survived by: his children, Pearlie C. Ervin-Hardeman (Edward) of Dale, Texas, Thomas Benjamin Ervin (Anna) of Hallettsville and Edward Williams of Baytown, Texas; his stepdaughter Laura Gaines of Austin, Texas; his grandchildren, Calvin A. Hardeman, Kaitlyn A. Ervin and Anissia L. Hardeman; his sister Rose Mary Kelly; his half-sisters, Minnie M. Jones, Linda Miller, Gladys Jones and Judy Williams; his brothers, Charles and Willie Rogers; his half-brothers, Charles R. Jones, Louis A. Jones and Don E. Johnson; and his friend Charlene Montee of Grandview, Texas.. He is also survived by other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
