We are sad to announce that on October 1, 2021, at the age of 89, Rex Maddox of Grandview, Texas, born in Alvarado, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Merrell and Sue Edith Smith Maddox; his wife Charlotte Hollimon; his children, Shirley Feeley and Gary Maddox; and his sister Martha Jean Jordan.

He is survived by: his son Monte Maddox of Grandview; and his daughter-in-law Paige Goodman of Grandview. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was past president of the Grandview School Board, past member of Grandview Industrial Foundation, and a past member of Grandview Masonic Lodge.
