He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Emmit and Ruby Mae Hollen-Hester (Polk); his wife Joyce Marie Brooks; and his granddaughter Crystal Faye Laningham. He is survived by: his children, Gary Don Hollen, Helen McCommas, Rita Crecy (Michael) and Julie Turner (Jay). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
