It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Newsome Horn (Grandview, Texas), born in Groesbeck, Texas, who passed away on February 22, 2020, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Delit McClintock and Emma Dora McClintock (Harrington); her former husband Dick Horn; her husband Earl Newsome; her children, Mack Earl Newsome and Billie Louise Newsome Wood; her grandson Brent Peacock; and her sisters, Lurline Shipp and Lena Hance.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pat Cornelius (Jim) and Kay Slaton (Jeff) of Glen Rose; her grandmother Wiginton (Max) of Cleburne; and her sister Robbie Gibbs of Logan. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren.
