He was predeceased by: his parents, Emory Ward and Lorine Ward; his mother-in-law Rose Jackson; his grandson Xavion Murray; his brother-in-law Harvey McMurry; and his grandmothers, Berta Ward and Frances Reid.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Kay Ward; his children, Leslie Pecina, Phillip Kelley (Samantha), Michele Simpson (Tovoris), Jamie Jenkins (Jessie), Darren Roberts and Crystal Whisenhunt; his siblings, Berta Ward McMurry, David M. Ward (Kathy) and Zuma Ward Cheek; his siblings-in-law, Brian Jackson and Vicky Harrall; and his pet Sweet Pea. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and one on the way, 4 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a vast network of relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel (512 N Ridgeway Dr, Cleburne, TX 76033).
