He is survived by: his former wife Gwen Bailiff; his wife Gwendolyn Hughes of Grand Saline; his sons, Michael Hughes (Carolyn) and James Hughes (JoLynn); his grandchildren, Zach Hughes, Blake Hughes (Jenny), Adam Hughes (Skyler), Lindsey Martina (Tom) and Shelby Hughes; and his great grandchildren, Drake Hughes, Wyatt Hughes, Harper Hughes, Aiden Hughes, Beckett Hughes, Brayden Martina and Brooklynn Martina.
