He was predeceased by: his parents, W. L. Brown and Helen Ruth Oxford Brown; his brothers, Charlie Brown and Bradford Brown; and his siblings-in-law, Linda, Mike Koonce and Donna Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanie Brown of Grand Saline; his sons, Brian Brown (Jane) of Grand Saline, Brady Brown (Angela) of Grand Saline and Brandon Brown of Van; his brother Justin Brown of Grand Saline; his siblings-in-law, William Neal (Sharon) of Grand Saline, Glenn Neal (Marcille) of Mesquite and Lynn "Hopper" Neal (Hilda) of Grand Saline; and his grandchildren, Ryan Brown (Cortney), Donovan Brown (Merritt), Josh Helms (Bonnie), Elizabeth Santos (Wyatt), Casey Hays (Jake), Adam Brown, Hailey Whitehead (C. J.), Zach Brown, Chloe "Co Co" Brown, Carley Rice, Luke Fraim, Cooper Brown, Carson Brown and Chrissy Presscott. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
He was one of the founding members of the Grand Saline Youth Foundation, coached for many years, and umpired high school and youth foundation baseball games.
