It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxine Carnes of Grand Saline, Texas, born in Tahoka, Texas, who passed away on November 5, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Manual Kirkpatrick and Joanna Kirkpatrick (Howard); her husband William Harrold Carnes; and her siblings, Clifford Kirkpatrick, Ava Nell Bivens, Polly McGary and Wanda Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Sue Burgess and Mike Carnes (Jean); her grandchildren, Laura Parr, Mandy Carnes and Josh Carnes (Kristen); her siblings, Ray Kirkpatrick (Jerry) and Pat Batt (Joe); her great grandchildren, Cody Moss (Ashley), Micah Hassell (James) and Danlee Enzler (Francis); and her great great grandchildren, Greyson, Dakota, Michael, Holden, Luke, Ridge and Emery. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
