Defoore Jr. of Grand Saline, Texas, born in Greenwood, Mississippi, who passed away on August 11, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Zola Estelle "Telle" Topp DeFoore (Telle); his grandparents, William "Allie" and Mary Vivian Williams Topp; and his niece Allison Lindsey DeFoore Taylor. He is survived by: his father John Sr. DeFoore; his wife Kathryn "Kathy" Knott-DeFoore of Grand Saline; his stepmother Marion Sue Jones DeFoore of Boerne, TX; his brothers, William G. "Bill" (Cindy Parker DeFoore) of Aubrey, TX, Richard G. "Rick" (Janet DeFoore) of Anson, TX and Marney W. (Pamela "Pam" Anthony); his stepchildren, Eric C. Johnson, Kyle B. Johnson and Kodi Jo Banks; and his stepgrandson Lane R. Banks (Nancy Morgan). He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
