It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Ray Fisher of Grand Saline, Texas, who passed away on January 20, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Foster and Mary Fisher (Washmon); his son Douglas Glenn Fisher; his sisters, Arlene Fisher Koonce, Glenda Fisher Thompson and Sherry Fisher; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Fisher, Hubert Koonce, Mike Thompson, George Worthington and Herschel Ewalt.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Fisher of Grand Saline; his children, David Fisher (Boonpeng) of Fruitvale, Mitzi Fisher (Douglas Parker) of Grand Saline and Mary Margaret McNorton (Bennie) of Allen; his siblings, Keith Fisher of Grand Saline, Ralph Fisher (Mona) of Grand Saline, Audrey Ewalt of Grand Saline and Linda Kay Hollowell (Bennie) of Grand Saline; his daughter-in-law Kay Armstrong (Rusty) of Point; and his grandchildren, Cody Fisher, Jay Adair, Rebecca Sellars, Zachary Fisher, Katheryne Fisher, Ethan Fisher and Audrey Fisher. He is also survived by 2 great grandchildren; and numerous other loving family members and friends.
