He was predeceased by: his parents, Enna Idell Samples Giles and Robert Lee "Arvin" Giles; and his siblings, Frank Giles, Barney Giles, Billy Giles, Harry Giles, Frances Allison and Verna Nell Maxey.
He is survived by: his wife Pat Giles; his daughters, Renee Miller (Tony) of Grand Saline, Cheree Davis (Mark) of Grand Saline, Sharlene Garrett (Shawn) of Scurry, Darlene LaPrade (Jason) of Fruitvale and Kristi Giles of Grand Saline; and his sister Juanita Cogburn of Cement, OK. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
