He is survived by: his wife Alaina Brown of Sherman; his sons, Charles Lee Denton of Houston and Gene Lee Denton, Jr. of Houston; his brother Kenneth Wayne Denton of Mineola; and his sister-in-law Shirley Denton of Alba. He is also survived by three grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
