He was predeceased by: his wife Lana Kay Smallin Kirby; his daughter Juliana Marie Kirby; and his siblings, Leroy Kirby, Henry Kirby, Gladsie Pierce, Elsie Davis, Fannie Mae Shields, Laverne Fowler, Annie Adkins and Wanda Reid.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sharon Jeanette Kirby of Denver, CO and Patricia Kirby Marshall (Randy) of Ft. Worth; his daughter-in-law Bobbie Pyles of Pattonsburg, MO; his grandchildren, Jessica Randale Proffer (Brandon) of Keene and David Ryan Marshall (Elizabeth) of Mesquite; and his great grandchildren, Samuel Bennett Proffer and Hailee Mae Proffer. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made to the G.S. Lions Club, Woodside Cemetery, or Oakland Cemetery.
