He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Grady M. Bates and Paul Wayne Watson. He is survived by: his mothers, Paula Bates of Grand Saline and Deana (Scott McCarns) of Farmersville; his brother Hobert Paul Bates of Grand Saline; his nephew Casey Clower (Crystal); and his niece Kayla McCarns of Farmersville. He is also survived by two great-nephews; and numerous other relatives and friends.
