He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Nathaniel and Clida Lee Melton Goode; and his stepdaughter Gail Bolin. He is survived by: his wife Thelma Goode; his children, Linda Lynette Barnes, Larry Don Goode, Jeffery Scott Goode (Shelly) and Terry Goode (Michelle); his sister Teresia Mayhan (Stanley); and his stepson James Randell. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
