He was predeceased by: his parents, Coy Eugene Taylor Sr and Arleta Beatrice Phillips Taylor. He is survived by: his daughter Cheryl Jimenez (Adal); his grandchildren, Juliann Arlita Jimenez of Grand Prairie, Crystal Taylor (Frank Sanchez), Kimberly Melara, Elizabeth Sanchez and Krista Sanchez of Arlington; and his siblings, Jeanette Taylor Szabo (Pete) of Leander, Kenneth Edward Taylor, Coy Taylor Jr (Joanna Hines Taylor) of Phoenix, Arizona and Mary Jo Bosley Steele.
