We are sad to announce that on April 13, 2018 we had to say goodbye to Billy Monk (Grand Saline, Texas), born in Van, Texas. He was predeceased by: his grandson Kristopher Harmon; his brother Troy Monk; and his nephews, Troyce Monk and James Monk. He is survived by: his wife Sonja Jean Monk of Grand Saline; his children, Billy Raydon Monk, Raymond Douglas Monk, Naomi Escritt of Carson, Dessie Schroeder of Huxley, Tonya Buckner of San Angelo, Holly Monk of Garland and Reneé Lewis of Illinois; and his sisters, Linda Monk English of Seattle and Shirley Monk-Alvey of Grand Saline. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

“This is going to Billy Raydon Monk. So sorry to hear about your fathers passing. I graduated in 1975 from Clinton High School. I'm also on the reunion committee and your name didn't pop out to anyone until we reviewed the program from that night of June 1st during our planning for the 40th reunion and there you were. No one can remember you. We are all curious to know the circumstances of why you were part of our graduation ceremony. Any type of response from you would be great to unravel the mystery of Billy Raydon Monk.”
