He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Koonce and Hazel Bennett Koonce; and his wife Claudine Koonce. He is survived by: his children, Douglas Koonce of Grand Saline and Claudia Koonce Bell (David) of Argyle; his grandchildren, Jillian Bone (Will) and Jared Bell; his great grandchild Wyatt Bone; and his siblings-in-law, Johnny Wayne and Elouise Clower of Grand Saline. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
