She was predeceased by: her parents, Ocie Talmadge and Lydia Bill Wade Pickens; her husband Alvin Phillips; her siblings, Billy Paul Pickens, Doris Rae Phillips and Doug Pickens; and her great grandchildren, Vanessa Paige Cervantes, Jillian Avery LaPrade and Cain Lee.
She is survived by: her children, Tony Phillips (Sherri) of Grand Saline, Byron Phillips (Tina) of Granbury, Cindy Allen of Chandler and Cheryl LaPrade (Lee) of Grand Saline; her brother Don Pickens (Rae) of Wills Point; her grandchildren, Ashley Parmer (Shane), Courtney Hogue (Kyle), Britney Allen, Amber Cervantes, Megan Menasco (Edgar), Melanie Gary (Josh), Steven LaPrade (Jayna), Shawn LaPrade, Sawyer LaPrade, Chad Lee (Lezlie), Cody Lee (Natasha), Cade Lee, Jessie Brawner (Anna), Ashley Gifford (Cary) and Jared Clark; and her great grandchildren, Ella, Amry, Myli, Jim, Abby, Ally, Hudson, Gavin, Lily, Owen, Lola, Max, Jacklyn, Kalynn, Logan, Kate, Morgan, Reagan, Luke, Ellie, Gage, Hunter, River, Zander, Carter, Crander, Lane and Landry. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bartley Funeral Home (1015 W Wolfe St, Grand Saline, TX 75140). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Fruitvale Church of Christ (310 VZ County Rd 1110, Fruitvale, TX 75127).
