She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Arey and Buna Arey; her husband Kenneth Dair Smart Sr.; and her brother Burt Arey. She is survived by: her children, Lee Arey, Buna Vista Arey (Glasscock), Tami Ratterree (Mark) of Rendon, Valri Smartt of Hawkins, Kenneth Dair Smart Jr. (Elizabeth) of Laredo and Mitzi Colbert of Grand Prairie; her brother Bobby Arey (Mary) of Garland; her sister-in-law Jane Arey Wait of Mesquite; and her aunt Willie Terry of Spring. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
