With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tressie E. Childers of Grand Prairie, Texas, born in Fairview, Oklahoma, who passed away on May 6, 2022 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Fred and Nancy Henrietta Seiger (Wion); her husband James Irvin Childers; her children, Bobby Ray Wilcox, Troy Wilcox and Thresia Gammon; and her son-in-law Charles Brinson.
She is survived by: her children, Eunice (George Pruitt) of Grand Prairie, Billie Brinson of Ringwood and James A. (Kathy Wilcox) of Leander; and her grandson Doug (Terri Childers) of Ferris, Texas. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other extended family members and friends.
