Though Sallye Ruth may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sallye Ruth touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lillie Johnson and Edward Johnson; and her siblings, Eddie Bernice, Lee Helen and Carl.
A wake was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the St. John Church (1701 W Jefferson St, Grand Prairie, TX 75051). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at the Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens (3001 S Belt Line Rd, Grand Prairie, TX 75052).
