He was predeceased by: his parents, Juvencio Roel and Lupita De Leon; his wife Patricia Roel; and his siblings, Ramino Roel and Claudina Roel De Cano.
He is survived by: his children, Maria Nelson (Vance) and Joe Roel (Imelda); his stepdaughters, Debbie Cason (Lynd) and Diana Colding; and his siblings, Flor Estela Mancha, Reynaldo, Isabel Roel, Raul Roel, Eustorgio (Lolis) and Genoveva (Manuel). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.
