He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Rae Mitchell and Anna Virginia Mitchell (Clem); his former wife Linda Mitchell (Tribble); his grandson Jonathan Matthew Flesher; and his sisters, Zita Mitchell, Patricia Mitchell, Joanne Woolever (Ken), Emma Joseph, Rita Myers (Rick) and Nancy Kidd (Hershel).
He is survived by: his wife Eva Martin-Mitchell; his children, Lisa Flesher (John), Ronald Mitchell II (Shelly) and Leslie Gates (Kenny); his stepdaughter Stephanie Martin (Allan); his grandchildren, Alyssa Mitchell, Jessica Flesher, Paige Mitchell, Maryssa Dailey (Blake) and Danyelle Gates; his stepgrandchildren, Micheal Martin (Michaela), Melissa Cheuvront (Aaron) and Matthew Martin (Wendy); his great grandchildren, Bryant Matthew Flesher and Adaline Rae Sifuentes; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Benjamin Cheuvront, Levi Cheuvront, Willow Martin and Bryson Martin; and his siblings, Eloise Hamilton (Edd), Della Roush (Homer), Peggy Kuchenrither (Larry) and Harold Mitchell (Missy).
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Crossroads Christian Church (6450 SH-360S Grand Prairie, Texas 75052).
