With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Samuel Gilmore of Grand Prairie, Texas, who passed away on April 12, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Daisy Cook; his parents, Louis Gilmore and Eliza Gilmore; his son Steven Gilmore; his grandson Clinton Gilmore; and his sister Norval Gilmore (Mary Jo Henton) of Washington.

He is survived by: his sons, Ronald Gilmore of Grand Prairie, Anthony and Lawanna Gilmore of Grand Saline, Texas.; his daughter-in-law Sherry Gilmore of Grand Prairie, Texas.; his grandchildren, Christie Harris, Jason Harris, Kari Williamson and Kelly Vestal; and his pet Taco.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in his honor to St. Jude Hospital.
