He was predeceased by: his father Curtis Bryant Surratt. He is survived by: his wife Mary Surratt of Grand Prairie; his mother Patricia Surratt of Terrell; his children, Staci Lednicky (Tim) of Mansfield and Traci Turner of Grand Prairie; his sister Beth Smith of Terrell; and his grandchildren, Joseph Richard Lednicky, Jerrick Rashad Turner, Jeremy Ryan Lednicky, Jaci Emily Turner and Jaxon Jermillion Turner.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rounsavall Cemetery Association.
