He is survived by: his wife Renee Garrett of Grand Prairie; his son Richard Curtis Garrett Jr. of Arizona; his grandson Andrew Dornieden of Oklahoma City; his brother Robert Lynn Garrett of Waco; and his mother-in-law Barbara Eoff of Clyde.
