It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rebecca Valenzuela Barrera of Grand Prairie, Texas, born in Bastrop, Texas, who passed away on December 22, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Epifanio Valenzuela and Bernardina Valenzuela; her husband Eduardo Hernandez Barrera; and her siblings, Pedro Valenzuela, Savina Hernandez, Nicolasa Torres, Reyes Luna, Trinidad Valenzuela and Eloisa Segura.
She is survived by: her siblings, Cruz Rodriguez and Epifanio Valenzuela, Jr.; and her children, Beatrice Villegas (Umberto), Ofelia Salinas, Herlinda Trieschmann (Tom), Laura Barrera, Eduardo Ray Barrera, Daniel Barrera, Joe Barrera (Thelma), Steve Barrera and Abel Barrera (Tamika). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren.
