She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Owen and Mabel O'Day Owen; her husband Herbert E. Halferty; her sisters, Oleta McNeil and Opal Klein; her grandson Andrew Halferty; and her great grandchild Rowen Halferty.
She is survived by: her sons, Rick Halferty (Brenda) of Tucson, AZ and Owen Halferty (Jane) of Grand Prairie, TX; her grandchildren, Ashley Halferty of Tucson, AZ, Evan Halferty (Sarah) of Hurst, TX and Justin Halferty (Delaine) of Tyler, TX; her great grandchildren, Evelyn Halferty and Bobby Halferty; her sister Ordyth Sandner of Tucson, AZ; and her granddaughter-in-law Emily Halferty of Tucson, AZ. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established for CWF of the First Christian Church.
