It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Opal Vivian (Bettinger) Cunningham (Grand Prairie, Texas), born in Waco, Texas, who passed away on July 4, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her aunt Ona Fields; and her siblings, Walter J. Jr., Mildred M., Virginia K., John L. and Bruce R. Bettinger.
She is survived by: her spouse Col. O. D. Cunningham, Jr. of Hico, TX.; her children, Randal D. (Patricia A.) and Ginger L. (Donald T. Coleman); and her grandchildren, Ronald D. Cunningham (Veronica P.), April C. Damon and Casey D. Coleman (Hailey E.). She is also survived by six nieces and nephews, and eight great-grandchildren.
Memorial: In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made in her name be sent to the American Lung Association, or another charity of your choice.
