He was predeceased by: his parents, James Haley McDougald and Elizabeth Claire Dougherty McDougald; his brother James Thomas McDougald (Janet); and his son Jeremy Leedom. He is survived by: his children, Amanda Joyce (Charlie) of Florida, Courtney McDougald (Napoleon Awunglefac), Katie McDougald of Wichita, Kansas and Michael McDougald (Brittany) of Wichita, Kansas; his siblings, Mary Long (Tommie) of Grand Prairie, Timothy McDougald (Terri) of Augusta, Bette Faye Tamang of Wichita, Patricia Mansfield (Greg) of Little Elm and John McDougald (Joy) of Tyler; and his grandchildren, Chasity McDougald, Carson McDougald, Chase Awunglefac, Kyleigh McDougald and Brycen McDougald.
