It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lillian Elizabeth Blanchard in Grand Prairie, Texas, born in Corinth, Mississippi, who passed away on May 30, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Noah S. Sweat and Vivien C. Dorsey Sweat; her husband Don Blanchard; and her siblings, Dr. Tommy Sweat, Noah "Soggy" Sweat and Vivien "Ta" Comfort.
She is survived by: her sons, Don Jr. (Dora) of Van Alstyne and Pat (Wendy) of Plano; her grandchildren, Felicia Hudson, Melissa Hagood (Josh) and Brie Garlock (Wesley); and her great grandchildren, Brandon Hagood, Emily Hagood, Kolston Hudson, Lily Garlock and Graeme Garlock.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, there will be a private service held for Lillian on Wednesday.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Grand Prairie Food Co-op, First United Methodist Church, or to a charity of your choice.
