He was predeceased by: his parents, Ardell Rowland and Mary "Melvin" Rowland; his wife Marsha "Gail" Rowland; his brother Wilburn Rowland; his brothers-in-law, Jerry Swaner and Jimmy Worthen; and his niece Jan Mitchell.

He is survived by: his brother VJ Rowland; his daughter Kristy Patterson (Jarrod); his sisters-in-law, Olivia Swaner and Mary "Lynn" Worthen; and his nieces and nephews, Stacy Weber (Sam), Gina Stefka (Charlie), Joanne Weber (Nate), Jay Swaner and Randy Worthen (Kristi).

Pallbearers: Randy Worthen, Sam Weber, Nate Weber, Jarrod Patterson, Derek Blyton and Tommy Collins, Both venues are requiring face coverings and social distancing strategies will be in place.
