It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen Skipper Elrod of Grand Prairie, Texas, born in Locust Grove, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 8, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Jesse Harmon Gum and Flossie Venice Collins Gum; her former husband Reverend Bobby "Bob" J. Skipper; her daughter Sherry Marcia Skipper; her spouse Mallie Albert Elrod; and her siblings, Laurine Gum, Imogene Gaden, Doris Baker and John Gum.
She is survived by: her son Steven Marcus Skipper; and her grandchildren, Bethanie Lynn Skipper of Springfield and Reverend Andrew Marcus Skipper of Grand Prairie. She is also survived by extended family and friends.
