He was predeceased by: his parents, Ubense Gonzales and Enriqueta Gonzales; his brother Nicholas Gonzales; and his parents-in-law, Eustacio and Susana Lopez.
He is survived by: his wife Esperanza Gonzales; his daughters, Linda (Eduardo Villagomez), Velma (Aaron Williamson), Lydia Gonzales (Jose) and Amanda Gonzales; his grandchildren, Isabel, Matthew, Marcus, Mackenzi, Joshua, Alycia, Vito, Arianna and Mason; and his siblings, Ovidio (Teodora Gonzales), Melida (Jesus Rodriguez), Francisca (Valentin Nerio), Ubense (Maria Elena Gonzales, Jr.), San Juanita (Pete Benavides), Maria Magdelena (Reynaldo Garza), Gloria Nunez, Maria Del Rosario Garcia and Yolanda Gonzales. He is also survived by wife, children and grandchildren.
